Late Summer Heart Warming Fruit Salad

Ingredients
Black berries
Blue berries
Pomegranate
Red grapes
Dates
Sunflower seeds (dehusked)
Almonds (soak in boiling water-when cool drain & dry)
A sprinkle of nutmeg and cinnamon  

Sauce
Juice from half a lemon
1tsp maple syrup

Method
Mix all the ingredients (nuts seeds and fruit) gently. Pour on the sauce and allow to infuse for about 15 minutes, enjoy at room temperature any time of day or chilled on a hot August night as an after dinner delight with a splash of cream
